JOURNEY TO FREEDOM
You want to be free but don’t want to be known
You’re wearing a mask that isolates you—alone
There is help to be found, hands reach out it’s true
Offering real hope, showing god’s love for you
Don’t hold back, don’t draw away For this could be that day
The first day on your journey to freedom
Don’t stop short—caught in fear He is calling you near
To walk with Him on your journey to freedom
You’re posing yourself as a strong mighty tower
But hidden inside, you’re still stuck in the mire
Confessing your faults to another will bring
Help to lighten the load on the path to healing
Don’t hold back, don’t draw away For this could be that day
The first day on your journey to freedom
Don’t stop short—caught in fear He is calling you near
To walk with Him on your journey to freedom
On your journey to freedom, each day shining brighter
From glory to glory, climbing higher and higher
On your journey through Jesus to abundance of Life
Freedom’s only found in complete surrender to Christ
Don’t hold back, don’t draw away For this could be that day
The first day on your journey to freedom
Don’t stop short—caught in fear He is calling you near
To walk with Him on your journey to freedom
Don’t hold back, don’t draw away For this could be that day
The first day on your journey to freedom
Don’t stop short—caught in fear He is calling you near
To walk with Him on your journey to freedom

When God Comes In Revival By Charles G. Finney
A revival breaks the power of the world and of sin over Christians. It brings them to such vantage ground that they get a fresh impulse toward heaven. They have a new foretaste of heaven and new desires after union with God; and the charm of the world is broken, and the power of sin overcome.
When the churches are thus awakened and reformed, the reformation and salvation of sinners will follow, going through the same stages of conviction, repentance, and reformation. Their hearts will be broken down and changed. Very often the most abandoned profligates are among the subjects. Harlots and drunkards and infidels and all sorts of abandoned characters are awakened and converted. The worst among human beings are softened, and reclaimed, and made to appear as lovely specimens of the beauty of holiness.
"O Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known, in wrath remember mercy" ( Hab. 3:2).
